Connecting educators and sharing ideas

The Educator Symposium is an annual professional learning event that brings together educators and sector leaders from across vocational education and training (VET) and adult and community education (ACE) in South Australia.

Designed to inspire new thinking and strengthen professional practice, the symposium provides a space to explore emerging trends, share innovative approaches and reflect on the experiences of others. Through keynote presentations, practitioner showcases and interactive discussions, participants gain practical insights, fresh perspectives and valuable connections across the sector.

Each year, the symposium focuses on a contemporary theme that reflects the opportunities and challenges shaping education and training, creating opportunities for educators and providers to learn, collaborate and contribute to sector-wide conversations.

Call for speakers

Do you have an idea, innovation, project or lesson learned that could help other educators and providers navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI?

We're seeking speakers from across the VET and ACE sectors to share practical experiences, research, innovations and real-world examples that are improving teaching, learning, assessment, learner support and workforce readiness.

You don't need to be an experienced presenter or AI specialist. We're looking for engaging, practical sessions that offer insights others can apply in their own organisations and learning environments.

Expressions of Interest close at 5.00pm ACST on Monday 28 September 2026.
