The Starting to Teach short course supports new and early career VET educators to move confidently from qualification to classroom practice. It focuses on the practical skills needed in the first years of teaching – when the right support makes the biggest difference.

This course complements the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, helping you apply your learning in real teaching contexts.
This course is designed for VET educators who have recently completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or are in their first two years of VET teaching.
You must live in South Australia and/or be delivering VET to South Australian learners. Full-time employment is not required.
